New SISTEMA version 3 available!

Our software assistant SISTEMA supports companies all over the world in evaluating safety-related machine control systems in accordance with the basic safety standard DIN EN ISO 13849. The updates to this standard have been implemented in SISTEMA 3 - as have numerous suggestions for improvement we have received. As always, the download is free of charge.

NEW: SOFTEMA also available in English version!

The SOFTEMA software assistant developed at the IFA supports the development and external testing of safety-related application programs for machine control. With the new version 1.3, the program is also available in English.

Focus on IFA's Work

Current research and development projects presently under way at IFA are summarized in new information sheets. Topics include wearable UV sensors for outdoor workers, the use of virtual reality for prevention of falling and slipping, and many others.

Climate Change and Occupational Safety and Health

Heat, extreme weather and other aspects of climate change have an impact on the health and safety of employees, children and students. The transition to a green industry is also changing the world of work. The IFA pools expertise on climate change related topics by means of its Competence Center for Climate Change and Occupational Safety and Health (KKA).
