Products that have been tested and certified in accordance with the test principles of DGUV Test may be labelled with its test mark. The GS-IFA-M24 test principles for the testing and certification of security aspects concerning the functional safety of industrial automation systems currently cover Security Level 1. The security level to be applied for a component or system must be determined by means of a specific risk analysis. The GS-IFA-M24 test principles (PDF, 285 kB, non-accessible) set out requirements in seven essential areas of IT security for attainment of Security Level 1. Satisfaction of these requirements is determined and evaluated by a testing and certification body in DGUV Test. A product certified in this way may bear the DGUV Test’s "Industrial security tested" test mark.

The test principles were produced jointly by the following testing and certification bodies in DGUV Test:

  • Testing and Certification Body Printing and Paper Converting (DP)
Expert committee Energy, textile, electrical and media products
  • Testing and Certification Body Electrical Engineering (ET)
Expert Committee Energy, textile, electrical and media products
  • Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the DGUV (IFA)
Testing and Certification Body in DGUV Test
  • Testing and Certification Body Expert Committee for Woodworking and Metalworking (HM)
  • Testing and Certification Body Foodstuffs Industry and Packaging Industry
Expert Committee for the Foodstuffs Industry
  • Testing and Certification Body Expert committee Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (RCI)
