SIAS 2015

What is special about this conference?

The world as we know it is becoming smarter: with the Internet of Things, with ambient intelligence, and with Industry 4.0. This „fourth industrial revolution“ also affects the machinery sector. With the advent of on-demand manufacturing, industry aims to be able to manufacture oneoff products as cheaply as in series production. Automation is the key to achieving this objective. Adaptive OSH systems thus become the model for the future.

In order for safety at work to remain in step with the rapid pace of technical progress, for experts to share proven safety solutions, and for emerging risks to be identified in good time, regular dialogue is essential. OSH organizations, players in industry and the public sector should contribute in equal measure to this dialogue. SIAS 2015 intended to join all these parties in looking to the future without neglecting the tried and tested.
