Methodological support and advice to the ongoing scientific evaluation of the German Worker's Compensation's managed care framework

Project No. FF-FR 0136A

The primary objective of the main project is to determine the efficacy and effectiveness of treatment under the current principles of Federal Worker's Compensation protection, compared to any other thinkable management of work-related injuries and diseases.
Accompanying and supportive research will assist the principal investigators in reaching defined milestones in a timely manner, defining appropriate target conditions, and selecting interventions of potential value and anticipated causal impact on health-economic outcomes.

The associated working group is supported and provided with professional advice. Results from individual project phases will ultimately influence the methods of subsequent phases. By qualitative and quantitative analysis of interim results, accompanying research will guide the principal investigators and sponsors in selecting adequate instruments and tools to accomplish further steps of the main investigation.
