Prevalence of structural damage of the rotator cuff due to shoulder trauma

Aims:

Detection of lesions of the rotator cuff due to different accidents of the shoulder. The hypothesis is that there is the possibility to define criteria regarding the objective distinction of traumatic or degenerative rotator cuff lesions on the basis of trauma mechanism and radiological findings.

Activities/Methods:

Clinical, radiological and nuclear MRI examination, questionnaires of shoulder function scores, insurance status, profession and psychosocial factors.
