Immunhistochemical analysis of sensory nerve endings in ligaments of the wrist, distal radioulnar joint, interosseous membrane of the forearm and elbow joint: a cadaver study

Project No. FF-FR 0272

Status:

completed

Aims:

- Localisation, density, distribution and analysis of receptor types of sensory nerve endings - Comparative analysis of sensory nerve endings between the anatomical structures - Establishment of immunofluorescent staining as triple staining - Determination of tissue morphology using HE + EvG staining

Activities/Methods:

- Immunohistochemistry with different antibodies (S100, p75, PGP 9.5) - Conventional staining HE + EvG - Immunofluorescence with DAPI, S100, PGP9.5, p75 - Establishment of immunofluorescent staining as triple staining - Confocal laser microscopy
