Prolongation of the cooperation agreement with the EU agency Socieux+

After four years of successful cooperation, DGUV and Socieux+ extended their collaboration for a further three years on 13 September 2024. Socieux+ programmes are an instrument for achieving EU social policy objectives in selected partner countries through the exchange of knowledge and experience with governments or social security institutions. The signing took place virtually. Socieux+ emphasised the extraordinary expertise of the DGUV experts, which has been highly recognised in previous assignments.

Funded by Socieux+, staff of the statutory accident insurance has carried out trainings in areas such as occupational health and safety, rehabilitation strategies and administrative solutions in Tanzania, Kenya, and Botswana, including online training.

DGUV Director general Dr Hussy explained that the knowledge and experience gained during the missions also contributes to the accident insurance system in Germany, hence the cooperation is a great benefit for all involved partners.
