Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences (PCU-WHS) is a statutory, not for profit, degree granting University focused in the areas of workplace safety, health promotion, return to work/disability management, and rehabilitation.

Working with the Institute for Work and Health of the DGUV, the world’s leading Prevention Institute, we wish to provide the opportunity for students to gain insight into disability management processes to assist in successful return to work outcomes.

Online course WHDM 401: Ergonomics
To introduce students to the field of ergonomics and the application of ergonomic principles to work organization, including overview of concepts, related theory/ergonomic assessment processes, and identification and application of solutions.

Online course WHDM 403: Case Management and Services Coordination
To examine skills and knowledge required for case management, service coordination, problem solving processes used in complex situations, and the client’s role as centre of the process. Students will consider issues related to diversity, lack of client commitment to the process, ethics and law.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Proficiency in English grammar with evidence of adequate reading and writing skills
