In 1981, around 40 years ago, one of the most modern and largest test laboratories for grinding wheels was opened in Sankt Augustin. To this day, it is one of only two independent test laboratories worldwide that carries out its testing in accordance with European standards.

When using woodworking machinery that has passed dust emissions testing, the operator no longer needs to regularly measure emis-sions. The Expert Committee for the Woodworking Industry has updated the principles for testing and certification of such machinery.

Lashing nets are a quick solution for load restraint. Now for the first time, such nets have passed GS testing and can be labelled with the GS mark ("Geprüfte Sicherheit" = "Tested Safety") from BG-PRÜFZERT. The GS mark gives purchasers a direct indication that the nets meet demanding safety requirements.
