Assessment of literature and data on 200 respiratory tract sensitising workmaterials

Aims:

The German ministry for work and social affairs (working group "sensitising workmaterials") is undertaking a corresponding listing and grouping for technical workprotection taking account of EU-drafts. This has revealed a lack of integral, weighted analysis of published research results on the subject. Goal: assessment of the available literature and statistics (amongst other things occupational illness documentation) for indications regarding the respiratory tract allergising effect of workmaterials, in particular threshold concentrations and dose-effect relations.

Data research, evaluation of literature

Results:

List with chemical parameters (synonyms, total formulae, molecular weight, CAS-No.), limit values, danger indications and in particular clinical data from international literature for over 200 work materials causing sensitising of the respiratory tract.
