OMEGA database: Strains on the spinal column

On the principle of the already widespread OMEGA system, a database on spinal column loading is being built up at the IFA in cooperation with various statutory accident insurance and prevention institutions. This database is designed, firstly, to permit a uniform, computer-aided anamnesis in connection with proceedings for the recognition of occupational diseases (BK 2108) and, secondly, to make workplace-related musculoskeletal loading researchable so that the findings obtained can be used in the prevention sector.
